If you are a music teacher in Arlington, Virginia (or the neighboring areas), then come join us for coffee to share and discuss the good and the bad about teaching music in the Nation's Capital. POCWSN = Parents of children with special needs I know many parents that are in need of support, even if it's just a shoulder to cry on. As a mom of a child with ASD and ADHD, I know the frustrations that arise on a daily basis. My goal is to find ways to support one another. I would like to establish play dates, coffee breaks, Parents night out and whatever any one else feels they need. I am not a doctor or therapist.  I am just a mom looking for support and advice from other parents.

We are a group of socially active, first time moms, with babies born in the Spring of 2010. We enjoy getting together and sharing stories and advice as we transition out of our old lives (of working and partying) and into the joys (and struggles) of motherhood...all while trying to maintain some of our youth, charisma, and sanity. We gather for playdates, music class, mommy boot camp, coffee/lunch and excursions. We want to have a small core group of women that can grow and encourage one another …
