This is intended to be a casual meetup of like-minded people who are looking for interesting conversation. I have always thought that it would be great if people would hang out in coffee shops in Syracuse and enjoy talking with whoever they happen to run into. Syracuse isn't there yet, but hopefully this will be one small step in that direction.

This group is for people who love to read and are interested in meeting other book lovers to discuss what you have read. We meet once a month at a local coffee shop to discuss a book chosen by the group.

I am new to the area, and learned to knit right before I moved. I would like to continue to knit with others and learn some new knitting skills while enjoying some great company. It would be nice if we could this group to meet on a regular basis. I want this to be a relaxed and fun atmosphere for all who attend.
