Walk leaders send out an email to all members two weeks before each walk inviting you to sign up. There are limited number of places so its important to reply to the leader requesting to join the walk. We also have regular social events: pub nights and dining out as well as weekends away.
This group does exactly what it says on the tin! A book group just for us Girls. We'll meet once a week with each attending memeber choosing the book for the following week and we'll bring thoughts, opinions and our ears to the evening. Meeting at The Elephant house means there will be lots of lovely coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cake to enjoy while we talk about the book we've just read. Each week we'll chose the best day to meet for the following week and base it on the majority attendence. …
Thursday evenings free? Us too! We're meeting every Thursday at Pulp Fiction Books (43 Bread St, near The Point Hotel). The group is limited to six players per night for the first game (currently Against The Dark), and then a second group of six plus GM may add another game later on. Time is from 7pm to 10pm, roughly, with coffee and cakes and pizza available at reasonable prices at their cafe. New players always welcome when there's room!

What better on a cold Edinburgh afternoon than tea, cake and a good chat? The plan is to try out different tea shops and cafés fortnightly around the city and get to know people at the same time. We are group devoted to help other women who have been subjected to domestic violence or abuse get out and about and rebuild their lives. We are group aimed at but not exclusive to women who have been be victims of domestic violence or abuse and have created a bloke free zone to help them regain some confidence in a social environment. I have been a victim of rape myself and hope to help others who have been through a similar experience. Boyz I hope you will understand.

Mainly a walking group but we will do other things as well. Meals, films etc. Always up for new ideas. We have no connection with the Edinburgh Walking and Socialising Group. You do not have to be super fit to join us, but we do try to offer something for everybody. Most walks are between 6 and 8 miles, sometimes longer. We are a small group, who are part of the Lothians & Borders Cyclists' Touring Club, based in West Lothian. We have around 200 members, who are resident in West Lothian, and some from Glasgow and the Borders.
