London is a city of great coffee houses. One things for certain, the days of Camp syrup and boiled water are long behind us! Lets explore the better cups of coffee this town has to offer! We are a welcoming group for everyone; couples, singles. All are welcome! Just bring your love of …
The Soho Coffee Posse is a regular weekday evening social gathering in the coffee bars of Soho. We aim to provide a space for gay men and their friends to come together to socialise and relax in a quite, friendly and inexpensive environment. We attract an unpredictable mix of regulars, occasional visitors and new members trying us out. Some attendees stay briefly, some come early, some come late while others stay for the whole evening. We have been meeting continuously since 2005 and are now pro …

This group is for those who would like to take a leisurely evening or daytime cycle around the City of London taking in the sights and sounds of the city while stopping off from time to time for coffee and cake at some of London's best cafes, combine that with good conversation and a strong desire to make new friends and have fun. There is no age limit to this group, all that is required is a bike that works, a decent set of lights and a smile.
Do you work in the City area between Aldgate, Liverpool Street, Bank, Tower Hill, Monument? Do you work with workaholics who don't take a break a lunchtime? Do you find yourself spending lunchtimes alone sitting on a park bench watching the world go by? Do you hanker for lunchtime friendships over a coffee or a swift half and a sarnie away from the office and your co-workers? If so join us! I know this is a bit of a niche group, but I hope to find a group of people who want to meet up at lunchti …

… The first rule of Coffee Club is honesty. This is a place to be very open about successes and failures. The second rule is experience. Whilst Coffee Club is very much geared towards the third sector, no sector is an island. We will explore all sorts of other avenues in the interests of learning. Oh, and if we're chatting on Twitter, let's use #goodcoffee The only way is ethics. Charlotte

Hello and Welcome!! This fun, and very friendly social group is only for those aged 20-35 - nothing against those older than this! I already have a lot of older friends you see, so decided to start this group so that I could meet people my own age and form more relevant friendships. I'm not a huge party animal so this group is for those that are interested in relaxed drinks or tea/coffee meets, shopping trips, movies, London markets, exploring London in general (especially museums, "one-off" …
… We have our set monthly Bookclub Meeting on the last Wednesday of each month in central London, and we have just started doing 'Coffee & Conversation' meetups as well in the middle of the month. These are proving very popular! Moving forward I have ideas about trying to organize adhoc talks, lectures, book swaps, the occasional social nights and maybe even picnics (summer's on it's way!). I hope that this page has given you a good picture of what our humble little book club is about and what …

… How it works is to suggest a book to me that you would like to read with your fellow Diva Readers and I'll do the same, visit the polls page, vote for a book you would like to read then we'll meet for lunch, dinner, coffee a cocktail, book signings and much more; to not just discuss our thoughts on our latest read, but also make new friends and socialise. And now and again just meet up for the sake of meeting and having a catch up if something fun in London is happening... it's all about friend …

So, what are you waiting for? We look forward to meeting you.
A casual group for people who work at home. It might get you out of your pyjamas & bring some human life to the sometimes isolating world of home-working. Its a new group & so its hard to say exactly what'll happen. We might swap home-working tips (e.g. IT), but I hope it'll be mainly about meeting for lunch, coffee, after work drinks, walks, sports (e.g. tennis) etc - the everyday (positive) things you miss-out on working at home & take for granted when you've had a 'real' workplace. May be vi …

… There are already so many different types of Meetups on Meetups so I didn't want to start just another womens group or dining out group or singles group or walking group or running group or coffee group or cinema group or tea group or days trips group or travelling group, spirituality or self-development group. I decided my new group would include EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY! I've got a lovely Co-Organiser called Taj but everyone one that joins can have, if they want, a stint as Assistant Organiser …

It's Simple. We go around testing cakes and petit fours offered by London's famous cake providers. Then we write reviews after each event. As well as doing London's haunt's we try out cakes on the beaches and in the countryside. Cakes created in other parts of the nation will also be part of our quest.
