Hello. Welcome to “The Local Coffee & Tea Scene.”
There are so many different types of local coffee and tea scenes around LA and the Valley, sometimes we don't venture out from what we know. And........ How do we find new places when we want to meet a friend, or perhaps someone new? We want to know what these new places are like - is it just coffee/tea to go, or can we sit and chat, or read for awhile? Or maybe share something to eat or a dessert.
So "The Local Coffee and Tea Scene" is going to visit coffee and/or tea places and hopefully it will give you an idea what is out there.
This is a very casual group. Just a chance to get together with friends and talk. So enjoy that cup of joe.
Please note: If you are not comfortable traveling more than 1-2 miles from where you live, this is not the group for you. The organizer utilizes public transportation (State of California won't let him drive), so if you're too lazy to get out of your comfort zone, this group is not for you. If you're not willing to make the effort to go to new places, those new places can't make the effort to come to you.

We attempted to do this place earlier in the year, but it closed down for repairs days before the event was to happen. It is now up and running.
This is an artsy kind of place, complete with a whole range of coffe/tea, smoothies, pastries and other delights.
Plus, local art adorns the walls.
