Three Rings for the Elven-Kings under the sky, Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone, Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die, One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie. One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie. ~ JRR Tolkien (1955) Talking about Rings, t's definitely a tea session! I am incline toward one more wilde piece. What about you? Bring a story, an experience, a piece of writing, an ornament - ring or likewise that signifies what resonates within you.

We meet at the ticketing booth 3pm sharp; visit the gallerie and have something to drink at the cafe. Brochure reads "come for the Klimt, stay for the strudel". I saw the brochure, never been there. yet. There is no event fee. Looking forward to the long weekend!

Praised be the three aims of life, virtue , prosperity and love , which are the subject of this work. The Kama Sutra means different things to different people. To some, it stands for the Erotic East; to others, it is a salacious piece of writing, sanctified merely by its antiquity. To others still, it is a scholarly thesis, amazing in its breadth and depth. I am holding on to the Text by Manjusri Basu that comes in two versions - Knowledge for Men; Wisdom for Women. Now, here is the challenge -- The best approach is the direct one but make sure you do it in style and, especially, in a controlled setting. Which one of the two is this meant for? ==================== ========== In the meantime, here is the free text online: http://www.biblioman ia.com/2/1/76/123/fr ameset.html Event fee includes tea only.

Have you seen the whole plant/flower slowly develop in the container? I'm seeing they have this for the second time. At this place, we can choose to place an order of their specialty kinds & observe as we speak.. about urban myths again. What one person think or perceive as a myth may in fact be a reality - whether cultural or knowledge or running out of ideas. It'd be interesting to interact about each other's beliefs or mantra to live by. Unless the group talks about that, we'd perhaps never know if its something we imagined or someone somewhere out there might have gone through that same thing. You are encouraged to come prepared though - otherwise, we can still have generative discussions anyhow - its out in the open, simply participate (in life) what a friend used to say. Event fee of $10 goes into goodwill. In reality - No, the event fee does not cover food or drinks. The event is held at a cafe.

How many times do we get to do this? Yes! Nursery rhymes! On a lighter note -- we sing to tune, recite or chant in childlike manner. Each person taking his/her turn - as we gather, clap, sing, dance, ponder and wonder in awe about the origins and its meanings. Bring all kinds of international language - just one catch, so long as you are willing to interpret that to the group. (http://www.rhymes.o rg.uk/) Coffee Bean Selection: "Ethopian Yirgacheffe" (aka. Wild Coffee) - classic Ethopian, richly flavorful, aromatic and intensed; full body, acidity; with complex floral and fruit notes. Beans from roastingplant.com Tea Selection: specialty Jamaican ginger tea Event Fee $10 goes to venue rental of upcoming events (see Welcome page).

The English word for fan comes from the Latin word "vannis", which was a tool for tossing grain. Those who lived thousands of years ago use fans for practical reasons. In the courts of Egypt, fans were used in religious ceremonies. These were seen as official symbols and often displayed in tomb paintings and low-relief carvings. Fans were also seen in the Middle East. We can talk about the different types of fans - the use of fans, the design of fans, even the word fan - in different languages and culture in the performing arts. No, the event fee does not cover snacks and tea.

In story telling fashion, within the walls of the Mystery Booksellers; from the significance of key chains to contemporary stuff - three legged rabbits, black cats, hantu (spirits) hiding in banana trees, and the kind - nothing heavy and nothing to be taken seriously; somewhat in a healthy, positive/ light-hearted manner (on beans & leaves) - talking about superstitions, traditions, folklores. The intent is for people to meet once a month in a friendly and be jolly. Remember though, as we speak, myth meets reality - maybe, the mystery dissipates; maybe it has perpetuated to other people. Anyhow, life proceeds in cool and fun-loving manner!

www.cafelalo.com I spoke to a waitress and she said that their slowest time was between 5 and 7 and 8 and 10 on Mondays and Tuesday nights. Hopefully we'll be able to get all the tables together, if not everyone is welcome to move around with their coffee and socialize. If your running late, no worries. See you there. ~ J
