Hello Professional Cuppers!

Just wanted to say hello and give you all a quick update with regard to future CCS events. As you all know, I was initially I hoping to plan a "coffee" themed dinner and while that is definitely still a possibility, I'm sorry to say that it won't happen before the end of the month.

I am going to be out of town from the last week in June to the first week in July and will resume the meetups when I return. For those interested in a coffee dinner, we can definitely do that. Other social events in the making is a possible BBQ with another meetup group in the area. I am chatting with the organizer and will fill you in with details as I get them.

With regard to coffee, before getting down and gritty again with the cuppings, I figured I'd kick the summer off with a iced coffee event. Want to know how to make the best iced coffee that will keep your guest talking? Want to know what granita is? These are the secrets I will expose and let you taste as we kick of the summer.

Also, I'm going to revisit the fundamentals for brewing a great cup. We will take an in-depth look at what constitutes a good cup of coffee and how varying from the formula affects the end result in the cup.
