for all coffee lovers.......

I took a Intro to Logo design class and we were asked to research a logo for a well known company so I chose STARBUCKS for being the coffee addict that I am!

They now hive Pike Roast at the stores and the cups show the original naughty logo on it.. when I saw it it reminded me of this blog !!! 8-)

check it out at http://www.deadprogra...

I never really paid attention to their logo until you brought this up and now I can't stop laughing. Very interesting! I had a new cup in my hands the other day and the first thing I did was look at the logo and think "wow, they must have had fun with this tongue"

Here is a follow up to the other article I posted.....

For its 35th anniversary, Starbucks decided to revert to its old logo, bare chest and all. This caused a stir at a Kent, WA elementary school.

"The principal felt like it was distracting so she asked the teachers to use coffee sleeves," said Becky Hanks, spokeswoman for the Kent School District south of Seattle.

The principal asked teachers stopping for a cup of Joe to be sure to get a sleeve to cover up Jane's cups.

That why the sleaves and cups have "Jane's cups" coverved but the bags for the coffee bean and grinds don't ........ :-)

Sandy, As always you amaze us by your knowledge and discoveries. this one is top. I learned something that 99% of Starbucks staff ignore... ;-) Thanks again. Great post.
Cyril ;-)
